A true Sommelier Experience

Spent 3 hours at this event and learned more about wine tasting at this sessions than the many American wine tasting events I have attended in the past. Exquisite wines paired with cheeses, meats and fruits that were mind blowing. Finding the site was bit tricky but definitely worth seeking this out. One of the highlights in my trip to Italy.

Fantastic wine tasting

Nine of my girlfriends and I had a private wine tasting with Alessandro Pepe. Most of us are far from wine experts, and Alessandro adjusted the wine list after hearing our preferences. His selections were divine. And the food was delicious! Alessandro was informative without being boring. My friends and I laughed the whole time (a bit of that may have been due to all that wine). I highly recommend!

This was a great experience! My husband and I have done similar tasting in Spain and France. This was a wonderful one as well. The sommelier was knowledgeable and entertaining! Food was excellent and we got the chance to meet and enjoy the company of some other travelers. For sure.....a 'do-over'!

Wine Tasting "Must Do" in Rome

I put this experience at the top of my "to do" list and it did not disappoint. The price was great, I would even venture to say it was one of the best deals in Rome. This is a "must do" if you love Italian wines from all the various regions within Italy and you want to taste in one sitting. I have done several wine tours in the different regions within Italy and I enjoyed having them together to compare. We had a very seasoned group of wine enthusiast and having learned of this Alessandro changed his mind at the last minute and added several more wines. The food portions were plenty and the wine pours were generous. It was a memorable night that lasted for 3 1/2 hours and we had a great group of people. We ordered a case of mixed wines from the different regions from smaller wineries that we will not be able to get home. The cost of the wines were reasonable and another 50 euro to ship to the US. I would definitely do this again and I learned a lot during our tasting.

Cozy, Informative, and Exquisite!

The food was amazing and the wine even better. Alessandro was on point from the first email I sent to confirm to the last goodbye. He is entertaining and the night ran smoothly with casual conversation from travelers from around the globe. He has the ability to make novice and seasoned wine tasters feel welcome. He allows times to chat, ask questions, and shares quite a bit of wine knowledge (obviously) and history with each bottle. Wine flowed well past the general "ending time" we booked for. I went with my boyfriend around Valentines day and It was a really special night. I would recommend it to all and we both agreed we would do it again! Well worth the price. The room is a bit challenging to find, but Allessandro has thought of everything...you should have no problem if you watch the video directions he sends ahead of time.
