Beautiful Florence....great tour

I took this relatively expensive tour under Giulia's expert guidance last week and was certainly impressed! She is a brilliant guide and knows the Medicis as well as her art inside out and she made the Uffizi Gallery so much fun! The walk through Vasari corridor was impressive and information packed and to know the interesting historical anecdotes was certainly enriching. Giulia knows so much and adds so much humor and excitement to the walk that you end up feeling it is indeed value for money. The walk is from Uffizi to Palazzo Pitti through the Vasari Corridor and all you Dan Brown lovers will love it!

Excellent choice to see the highlights of Florence in a day

We booked the Dan Brown Inferno tour in the morning and the Vasari Corridor and Uffizi tour in the same afternoon..... Vanessa our tour guide for both was just fascinating and very engaging with the whole group. We took our two 12 year old daughters and they were not looking forward to the day (being more interested in fashion than art) but they were captivated by her the entire day and made our enjoyment complete. Please thank her again directly And look forward to another tour next time we visit.

Amazing city!

We thoroughly enjoyed our day tour to Florence. Amazing historical buildings, squares, streets and alleys to walk around and explore. Piazza del Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio and the beautiful bridge Ponte Vecchio with its old houses. Fortunately this bridge was spared when the Nazis bombed the city. We only wished we would have had more time here!

Fascinating

While in Firenze last July I was lucky enough to catch Dan Brown's Inferno Tour. I booked it on line and joined a small group for a very informative and fun walking tour dedicated to the locations in Florence featured in Dan Brown's Inferno (which I read while I was in Florence). Mario Gesu (himself a skilled guide and an expert on Dante's Inferno) lead our 2.5-3 hour tour of the sites. He was enthusiastic and attentive and would take time to ensure that each guest was attended to and had all their questions answered. Mario also would recite Cantos from Dante's Inferno from time to time from memory. We saw the Palazzo Vecchio including the secret passageways leading to the Vasari Corridor and the one behind the map of Armenia leading into the room within which the Medici could eavesdrop on the deliberations in the Hall of 500 (a massive and impressive hall devoted to the Medici and containing works of art by Vasari, Michelaogelo and many others). From there we traveled through the alley ways to La Badia (a solemn and serene church still active today), to Dante and Beatrice's church to the Baptistry and then the Duomo. All the while Mario would point out sites of significance both historically and in respect of Dan Brown's thriller. It was a masterfully executed tour by a truly engaging guide. Grazie Mario. Bravo.

Thought we knew enough without Inferno Tour, Wrong!

Took the Inferno Tour today with Elisa L. We debated on taking the tour because we've been to Firenze several times and while reading the book we knew exactly where everything took place. Well, we learned and saw new things and an unexpected surprise was added to the Museo di Palazzo Vecchio portion of the tour. It won't be a surprise if I tell you, so book this tour and you too will be excited! We did the morning tour only but left with so much historical knowledge and we enthralled when Elisa read excerpts from the book. Was just as exciting as rereading the book itself!! A lot of effort by staff was put into the tour making it a very worthwhile adventure!
