Not far from Bologna is located Maranello, beautiful town on the South of Modena and popular destination for fans of Formula 1. Since 1943 is the seat of the Ferrari factory, the prestigious car manufacturer founded by Enzo Ferrari, in Modena.
Also, important archaeological findings document the existence of the ancient town of Maranello since the Bronze Age.
In the charming historic centre of Maranello, built between 1894 and 1903, is the parish church with the bell tower, built at the end of 1913, and the mosaic that depicts the symbol of the city. Among the main attractions is also the monument to Enzo Ferrari.
