Undoubtedly, no trip to Pisa would be complete without marveling the most famous landmark in the city, the Leaning Tower. The tower is the bell tower of the nearby Cathedral: though due to ground subsidence, which occurred in the early stages of the project, the structure has slid to the side and thus sealed the fate of the tower for eternity, making it the most famous symbol of Pisa in the world. At the end of the guided tour, you will board the coach or the minivan again to come back to Livorno Port on time to board your cruise ship.

This stunning structure, whose construction was commenced in the eleventh century provides a perfect backdrop for the famous postcard view of Pisa. The best view of the Cathedral is from the Baptistery.
