Francesca the young lady who guided us around

Only 4 people on out tour. This was a a real bonus. Anyone can walk you around and deliver facts. However our guide was funny, interesting and knowledgeable. we had a great time and would definitely recommend using ItalyXP. The following day we went on a tour of the Vatican with another company which in comparison was terrible. I am not sure if ItalyXP do this tour as well, but if they do, chose them for both. If you can only chose one go to the colosseum. Thanks Francesca. My wife and I had a great experience Andy & Kim M from London

Thorough, knowledgable, and a complete history lesson well presented by our guide Sarah....exceptional!

Our guide led us through a fascinating history of one of the most intriguing cities in the world. Her historical and architectural knowledge brought us back in time. Worth every euro. The group is smaller, you skip the line, and away you go,

A great tour and the guide was exceptional!

Very organized and skipping the line was a huge advantage as the crowds were very large the day we attended. We never had to wait and our guide was extremely good at her job. Bravo!

Two Great Tours

We spent 4 days in Rome and pre booked two tours, one including the coliseum, palatine hill, pantheon etc, and the other to the Vatican. Both our guides were lovely, warm and friendly. They both spoke very good English, we didn't have one problem understanding them through the headsets. They were both very knowledgable, answered all questions (a woman on our tour seemed to have hundreds) and seemed to enjoy their jobs.

We had a great experience

We booked two tours with them and enjoyed both. We did the Ancient Rome walking tour one day and our guide was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and answered all questions. Her English was great and the headsets worked perfectly. I noticed others commenting in static but if you ask them for help they will switch out or help fix if needed (they carry extras on the tour). This tour covered all of the high points of Rome and made is feel like very efficient travellers. We did the Vatican City tour the next day with them as well and loved it just as much. We had the University professor and she was wonderful. Witty, funny and very knowledgeable. She didn't skip over anything with us and we had an incredibly busy day with tourists as well. Her English was great and understood everything. The only thing we wished was that they would stop for more photo ops and offer to take photos of you at various spots (I understand this can be time consuming in larger groups but we were relatively small groups and would have been a nice touch, rather than taking a bunch of "selfies"). We only had 1.5 days in Rome and these two tours helped us ensure we squeezed everything in!
