This tour exceeded my and my wife's expectations, simply wonderful!

I can't say enough good things about this tour. Of course the scenery and the tour stops were spectacular. Where the tour really shined was the equipment and the people. Our guide was funny, extremely well informed and kind. The bicycles had electric assist which made the 18 mile trip a breeze. If you are in Rome you must go on this tour!

Rome by bike: amazing eXPerince!

ItalyXP team was great: their Customer Service department was fantastic in helping us to tailor the tour. They gave us all information we need to join this experience. Our E-bikes were comfortable even for those who were not used to go by bike. Lorenzo, our guide, was very knowledgeable and helpful, and made the tour very interesting. The final stop at the Caffarella Park was the best: wine & cheese tasting was superb! For sure we will join it again when we will be back in Rome! Thank you ItalyXP!

Great Appian Way Tour

We spent a wonderful 6 hours exploring the Appian Way, Catacombs and viaduct area outside Rome city center. Daniele was a great guide and very concerned with our safety and interests. He was so knowledgeable and the book he used to illustrate what we were seeing added to his wealth of knowledge. We loved the stop at the sheep farm and brought back delicious cheese to share with our relatives in NY for the holidays. There were a few hills but the bikes were in excellent shape so the hills weren't so bad.

Great way to experience the Appian Way.

Our family with 2 adults, one teenager and three young adults (ie. college students) took the 6 hour Appian Way trip and consider it the highlight of our week because it took us back to places we had been but also got us out of the city. The farm stop with wine and cheese was really a great break and extremely tasty. Our guide Frederico (sp) was great and gave us a great description of the aqueduct. The bikes we used were great and considering that the Appian Way can be a little bumpy we all managed well. We would highly recommend this tour but would give a heads that there is city traffic to manage through at times during the ride. You need to listen to your guide and follow his/her lead. You don't have to be an athlete to accomplish this tour, but you need to have some bike riding skills and have some amount of physical fitness to truly enjoy this tour.
