Our Master Chef tour begins with the Chef welcoming you to her lovely home, located on the Aventine Hill, the southernmost of the famous seven hills on which Ancient Rome was built. Once inside, the chef will share the menu she has selected to prepare that evening, which will feature both seasonal fare as well as several traditional Italian dishes.

A unique experience to learn more about Italian cuisine

You will move on to her fully-equipped professional kitchen, where you will begin preparing the meal, and learning about the different flavor pairings you are attempting to take advantage of. The chef will share new recipes with you, and encourage you to think creatively about your own tasting skills.

Taste a homemade dinner togheter with other people

You won't taste anything mass-produced here, just the real, simple flavors of authentic Italian food. At the conclusion of the class, you will join the chef and the other students (hopefully you made a friend or two during the class and cooking!) at her elegant, private table, where you will taste and comment on the food you all prepared together.

Most Highly Recommend!

I am an avid home chef, completely untrained yet with thirty years of kitchen adventures. My husband encouraged me to spend a day with Daniela and her assistant, Livia. I couldn't have enjoyed the combination of Daniela's culinary savvy and gracious hospitality more! For particulars on the day, I suggest reading previous reviews. The word which best describes the Gestalt is "passion". This encompasses a deep appreciation for the land, people and culture which shape Daniela's food. She possesses a unique combination of skills to transcend traditional barriers allowing this experience to become the gateway to Cucina Romana.

Great food in a relaxed environment

Daniela's cooking class was a highlight of my trip! I learnt so much about italian cooking and I can't wait to cook for my family. It was a fantastic experience that I would recommend to everyone who is traveling to Rome, especially if you love food.

The way to my heart

I love food! Usually just eating it because I am a bit intimidated by cooking complicated meals. This year the women in my family went on a trip to Rome and the main plan was attending a Cooking School. Best trip ever! I so enjoyed the hands on cooking experience as well as learning how to properly shop seasonal food. Daniela was so warm and welcoming that I felt right at home in her kitchen cooking. I left knowing that all the dishes could be made in my home. I am proud to say that I will never eat jar red sauce again thanks to Daniela.
