A great tour from Rome, perfect for nature and history lovers who want to spend a day on surrounded by the green landscapes of the Castelli Romani region.

A tour to discover the Roman countryside

Come and join us as we depart from Rome, beginning the guided tour that will show you the authentic beauty of this magnificent area in the Roman countryside. Mount Tuscolo, in the town of Monte Compatri, is the perfect place for that: it's one of the best places for walking in nature and it also offers a chance to visit the Ancient Roman city of Tusculum.

Visit Tusculum, a fascinating archaelogical area not far from Rome

Our amazing guided tour from Rome, "Tuscolo: nature and culture", includes the transfer from Rome to the archaeological area of Tuscolo and the visit of the site. The guided tour of Tusculum allows you to discover all the moments which characterize the history of the Castelli Romani. During the tour, a guide will show you how this place has grown and developed, from ancient Tusculum to the present day.
Then, you will take part in a picnic to taste some of the most typical products of Castelli Romani’s local cuisine, including: sausages, vegetables, "bruschette" (bread with oil, tomatoes or other toppings), and Romanella "Le Quinte", typical local wine made in Castelli Romani.

Enjoy a picnic and visit the wonderful city of Frascati

After the picnic, the tour of Castelli Romani continues to the heart of Frascati, one of the most important towns in the area, where you will have time to relax and do some shopping. You will have a lot of time to buy souvenirs or some typical products to bring home with you.
After a two-hour stop, we will head back to Rome.
