Getting close to the Expo 2015, Milan has been modernized with the creation of new cutting edge areas and neighborhoods. The Porta Nuova zone, already known as an executive centre of the city, has been completely redesigned around the new Piazza Gae Aulenti.
Here there are now futuristic skyscrapers – including the Unicredit Tower, the tallest building in Italy, and the Vertical Forest, a sustainable towers complex - new parks and public gardens.
Moreover, in the northwest of Milan has been held a large exhibition space that will host the pavilions of the nations during the Expo: a unique place that will amaze its visitors.
